This bracket should remain mounted on the engine. When the engine has to be removed from the chassis it is important to loosen the screws in the correct order;
De-Assembly:
1) First the 4 screws in the bottom, the linkages and fuellines from the carburetor, and the main spring for the fixation of the exaust on the chassis
2) Remove last 2 screws of the bracket at the connection with the differential mountings. (So the bracket itself remains attached to the engine)
By doing so this bracket is also used as support for the engine when it is standing somewhere safe on the bench.
For re-assembly:
1) Gently put the complete engine + exhaust back in place
2) First add the 2 screws to connect the bracket to the differential mountings
3) Fit the linkages and the fuel lines back to the carburetor
4) Add the last 4 screws in the bottom of the engine
By using this procedure you have the most safe and fast way to de assemble and reassembly the engine.
