HRC-Parts - the next chapter

It is the beginning of 2016 and the HRC-Parts.com webshop is doing well. More and more customers are able to find us and trust on our service and reliability. But still we think there is a big room for improvement. 

 

There is also the need for an updated webshop with more functionality for the mobile devices. But the current storesoftware itself needed to be updated as well to keep a reliable and user friendly system. of course it was a kind of logic step...

But the current storesoftware itself needed to be updated as well to keep a reliable and user friendly system. of course it was a kind of logic step to use the same open source software and do all the developments and changes internally ourselves. We started expeditious, but due to high demands, and in the middle of the "racing season", the progress was not like we preferred.

After several "tries" to get it finished, it was already in spring of 2017 that we decided to move into another platform. No more "open source" but a professional organisation with a professional solution. Well supported and with a lot of new modern features: We were rapidly migrating the current HRC-Parts.com into a Lightspeed Ecommerce solution!

During this process we also learned and studied on customer behaviour, customer requirements, "look and feel" and usability. We looked into categories, filters, bundles and checkout solutions. Basically it is a complete rebuilt but ofcourse with all "trusted" brands as before. Countless hours of work have been put into it. The big job has been done by now but we are aware that there is still some work to do. 

It is now with pride and honor that we can present the next chapter of HRC-Parts.com. We are happy with the results. We are looking forward to all positive but also negative remarks. Especially those are the ones we need to improve our offering and working methods.
